Developing the strategic themes

The University of Malta embarked on a Strategic Planning Process to update its vision and mission for the forthcoming years. The Strategic Plan 2020-2025 presents a set of overall goals and a roadmap on how to achieve them. 

The core strategic themes reflect educational and academic objectives, which are derived from higher education topics identified in the benchmarking exercise of leading universities, and from the review of international higher education guidelines. 

The Working Groups within the Strategic Development Fora were based on the core strategic themes. 

Examples of the components of the themes are listed below. Other themes and priorities evolved in the course of the Strategic Development Process.
