The  Committee for University of Malta’s Strategic Plan shall:

1. Monitor how the work within Faculties, Institutes, Centres, Schools (FICS) and administrative entities complements the vision outlined in the Strategic Plan 2020-2025.
2. Develop ways of collecting information and data from FICS and administrative entities about each of the eight Themes and the corresponding main commitments and activity plans.
3. Identify challenges faced by FICS and administrative entities in addressing the objectives of the Strategic Plan 2020-2025.
4. Analyse and evaluate the achievements and shortcomings of the first strategic document.
5. Draft a document for the subsequent strategic vision accompanied by agreed-to UM priorities and a corresponding work plan to indicate how the priorities will be addressed.
6. Share, discuss and obtain consensus about the proposed vision, work plan and priorities.
7. Discuss, seek and obtain finances to support the strategy.
