The University of Malta Library hosts periodic exhibitions in its foyer, in the area  just before entering the Reference Department. Through these exhibitions we take the opportunity to showcase the collections which are held in the Archives and Rare Books Department, however we also give a platform to emerging artists to allow them to experience the thrill of displaying their work. We also encourage students and staff with an artistic flair to share with us their works, with the possibility of the Library hosting themed pop-up exhibitions and three-dimensional art installations in different areas of the Library.
